It is truly amazing to capture a sweet newborn in their first couple days of their life. The small details, placing baby in beautiful poses for the most flattering angles.

Newborn sessions are never rushed, allowing for both soothing and feeding breaks throughout. Your babies comfort and safety is paramount to me. My last vaccination against Wooping couch was done August 2020, I have also done my first Covid vaccine.
As a parent myself, I know first hand how precious those first few weeks can be. My goal is to provide you with beautiful images which you can treasure forever, all done in your own home.
Upon arrival, I will pack all my equipment out and set up for about 20min. Once I am set up, I will be ready to take baby very gently through a variety of poses, some bean bag shots and some prop shots, capturing multiple angles perspective and those tiny details along the way. I have a fan heater and would make sure that baby is warm at all times.
We will also take a break or two for a cuddle, a feeding and a diaper change throughout the session. If you have chosen to include parent shots with baby I typically capture these at the end of each photo shoot. I will take you through a workflow that includes shots of parents with baby together and individually, capturing different angles and expressions as I go.
I conclude the session after I feel I have captured the shots I need to present a beautiful gallery to you. You can expect a 3 - 4 hour sessions.
I schedule newborn session within the first 7 to 14 days of birth, as this is when they are still in the sleepier state and can more easily placed into those beautiful, curly newborn poses. Sometimes I can push this back by a few days, especially if baby arrived early.
All sessions take place in comfort of your own home on weekdays only at 10am.
I have a beanbag and some props to set up, clear a space before my arrival. I have studio flashes that I use throughout the session. If you have amazing natural light, please clear space close to that.
I provide all props for my sessions, baskets, wraps, bonnets, headbands, blankets, etc. All my blankets and wraps are washed in sensitive baby detergent before every shoot.
Regarding the actual timing of the shoot, once I have received your deposit and contract. I will book you in 7-10 days after your baby arrival date. I ask that you then add me to your baby is here email/txt list, so I can be sure when baby has arrived.
As soon as get word that baby has arrived, I will then schedule the actual date of your newborn session, typically anywhere from 7 to 14 days, I always count for little wiggle room if baby decides to come early or late.
